Some interesting arguments.
I think the argument that he has better things to do then think of taking a bag "everythere". You do not need a bag small in hand purchases and when you really go shopping you should and can easily bring a bag when you go shopping.
When it comes to regulations I would trust the US with nothing. The EU has probably way better regulations for landfills like for food and other things. While at the same time probably do a way better job at actual recycling.

I do not get why ppl are so obsessed about this legacy extensions, by now there is almost a extension for everything and I do not need that much consolidation of the UI.
Tab mix plus is basically now a light extension that just points you to about:config setting that are more then enough for me. The most important setting for me is to open all popups in tabs.
Also Mozilla has deprecated that old APIs for security purposes! Maintaining it with a small team of volunteers or some little donations is not gonna cut it. I am not "Anti" everything its just that I do not see the point of this AT ALL.
// Ok its not even a team its a one man project, makes it even worse. And isn't ESR now also build on a version without the old APIs? If not already that day will come and especially then the using it will be a big security risk.

TLTR: Question: To what do I set network.trr.bootstrapAddress for https://doh.appliedprivacy.net/query?
I am confused. The guide tell me to set:
network.trr.uri
But Foundation for Applied Privacy sounds nice and I want to force DNS over HTTPS. The site specifically tells me to use the the Firfeox setting page https://appliedprivacy.net/services/dns/ but that sets network.trr.custom_uri not
network.trr.uri so whats the diffrence? And it also tells that I have to set the network.trr.bootstrapAddress but does not tell you to what in case I missed something.

I like YAML and TOML for fro configs. Never liked JSON at all. There are some nice sugars when in comes to quotes, commas that annoy me in JSON but it seems way to complicated and filled with tons of features to learn when here are established config languages that work and have a huge future set you just do not need to use at all like YAML.
Also its looks ugly having even have roon in curlies. Have not look at everything, I am sure Google has its use for this but I think its to much for just configs. And if someone can point why they not just use YAML I would be interested.
