Geeze, you've been using IA to host your own personal media projects? That's disappointing to hear. What's wrong with, like, SoundCloud, etc?

I rely on IA for literal public archival material like newspaper scans and broadcast recordings. Your usage of it seems a tad self-indulgent.

It seems like having a 1TB drive and p2p hosting would be the most pro-social move, here, if you're unwilling to pay for cloud hosting or otherwise participate in the market.

The first comment does not suggest "it was always like this", only that it was known, commonly accepted, even declaratively established to be like this.

I was afforded limited exposure to alcohol and sex starting around age 13, and I've got a vastly healthier relationship with the two than the rest of my society.
