AI as currently modeled can pretty much never get enough data, so mostly data processing, and model generation.
when a query is asked of an AI it has to generate a response from all of that data and the query and response themselves become data
running an LLM on local consumer hardware can take upwards of 20 minutes for a single query, so an AI service that may be responding to up millions of requests a day would need a massive hyper-parallelized server infrastructure

nuclear isn't cheap if you are thinking about the cost to build out a new plant under current design.
but the per kw cost is relatively low as i understand it since the fuel is so efficient and its getting cheaper as new reactor designs get cheaper and safer

bing accounts for your history in promoting search results. and has a different algorithm to google, inevitable really because google's algorithm is secret and unknowable.
the problem is that google WANTs to promote forums because forums are reliable sources of truth, but with automation all they can do is look for subject authority markers (incoming link count, keywords, text references on other highly authoritative pages, etc)
SEO as an industry is about optimizing those markers to appear above "organic" results in a search page.
changing the markers only means the SEO industry will adjust to target the new priorities, but forum operators are always the last to optimize. it's a fundamentally unwinnable game

commercial real estate was considered extremely safe, and competitive, so such deals were a way to build trust in commercial tenants and compete with other banks.
it was considered safe because a commercial tenants was likely trying to run a stable business and moving location is very expensive, so it was unlikely for a business to want to change location on a whim.

> Obvious (if politically impossible) fix - banks that go bust become U.S. Gov't. property.
the assets should become government property and administered long enough to sell off the assets to the market.
the bank itself should be dissolved as a legal business entity, with no protection for the executives

yes, its the difference between the headset being a bold new computer form factor, or just another peripheral.
basically is it a laptop (fully independent), an ipad (excellent secondary device that can do focused work on it's own), or a smart monitor (peripheral with some built in usability)?
