This is a neat implementation, regardless of the argument over how it is hosted! There are a number of other systems along the same general lines, but for me the sticking point is that there is no good implementation equivalent to the Alexa devices scattered around my home (and RV!) that allow me to interact via speech. I'm working on one of those now in my copious spare time. (Yes, there are a bunch of rPi projects. Their rates of errors are unacceptably high.)

Yep. Quantum mechanics, for example, works, even though we don't understand the underlying thing that the model describes.

So these folks are implying that the rework of the DSM-4 into DSM-5 was tainted in some way by association of the authors with pharma or other industries? Do I understand that correctly?
Is there an example that anyone has pointed to where DSM-5 could have been written differently, to the detriment of a commercial enterprise? (What little I've read in the DSM-5 is enough to leave one with glazed eyes.)

We haven't heard the other half of the story - what has happened to Facebook's traffic within Australia? Yes, the Australian publishers are taking a hit, but we can't guess at the outcome without knowing how much pain this might be causing Facebook.

I knew Stanley several years ago when we attended the same church. I'm not a psychopath and neither were the other folks in our congregation. Stanley was a good teacher but a bit of a monotone during the songs. I hope he is still doing well. Good man.
