A few notes based on common questions:
- No backend yet — everything runs locally on the phone
- No ads, tracking, or data collection
- Works best when Location is set to “Always”
I am especially interested in feedback from people who shop at the same few stores every week.

Hi HN,
I built Cueso, an iPhone app that reminds you of your grocery list when you arrive at stores you already shop at.
It’s fully on-device, uses location awareness, and opens the right list automatically when you are near a store.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cueso/id6756196364
Short demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9jkFA8-qwo
I would love feedback on the UX, usefulness, and edge cases.
Happy to answer questions about the design or implementation.

I had same issues as you have outlined about writing before I read someone say "don't worry about others and just write for yourself" and all my fears about writing went away. So just write for yourself and I can guarantee you that others will read what you write.

i think aws has the most comprehensive infra related docs here -> https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ with good architecture diagrams. i understand that this is just for aws related products and how they are used, i would love to learn if there is a more general site where infra related topics are explained and discussed in more detail.

Agree. MDN is gem for new learners to learn about frontend and backend development!
