What matters is how easy it is to create an out-of-order implementation of an ISA, there isn't a 680x0 equivalent of the Pentium Pro.

I could see a market for hybrid supercars if cities go further on being clean air zones, enough of a battery to let the owner drive slowly around Knightsbridge.

I drive a bit more than you at 4000 miles a year but most of that is outside the UK so would like to see more details on the recent proposals to tax electric cars on annual mileage.

Current petrol car is 13yo so will need replacing eventually.

That engineer didn't give up for very long, he designed a different 32-bit machine for Computervision fairly soon after, it is featured in the AMD PAL book from the early 80s.

I wrote a hypertext system that created dialog boxes on the fly and used the callback for the custom object type to implement links.

It was fine on an Olivetti M24. Same screen resolution and colour as the ST, Logitech mouse plugged into the back of the keyboard.

Windows were only fixed in the desktop application, you could still move and resize them in your own apps.

I got the full set of GEM documentation when I attended the launch of it, can't remember how you could get it later. It was good enough for me to write bindings to DR C and Lisp then several applications.

There was a RUSI paper at the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine that identified this problem.

The one area of munitions supply that was in good shape was 5.56mm, the "assault rifle" culture in the US means there are enough people plinking at targets to keep a good number of factories profitable.

The listed range of the car that I'm thinking of [0] is 186 miles, I was using 100 miles as the useful range in winter as there are reports that it drops by a lot in the cold, this vehicle gets the largest subsidy in the UK right now. I had been considering this as my next car even before the subsidy was announced but slightly more range would be nice.

It would be helpful for the current generation of smaller electic vehicles that are fine for daily use but would need to stop every 100 miles on a longer trip in winter.

My phone contract that does offer IPv6 is with Free, I could not work out whether it would disable IPv4 if I enabled IPv6 so have not tried changing it.

I have has native IPv6 since 2010, from two different ISPs.

It is also available for one of my phone contracts but not tried enabling it yet.
