I didn't know macos was a relevant operating system in 2025. Everything apple does just brings the OS closer to the grave. But hey now they have adblocking, it only took how many decades? lol

This is one of the reasons I absolutely hate Linux based development and operating systems built with it.
We all know it now as dependency hell, but what it is in fact is just a lazy shortcut for the current development that will bite you down the path. The corporate software is not a problem, because the corporate users don't care as long as it works now, in the future they will still rely on paid solutions that will continue working for them. For me, I run a local mirror of arch linux, because I don't want to connect to internet all the time to download a library that I might need or some software that I may require. I like it all here, but since I haven't updated in a while I might see some destructive update if I were to choose to update now. This should never happen, another thing that should never happen is if I were to compile an old version of some software. Time and time again, I will find a useful piece of software on github and I will naturally try compiling it, it's never easy, I will have to hunt the dependency it requires, then try compiling old versions of various libraries. It's just stupid, I wish it were easier and built smarter. Yes sometimes I want to run old software, that has no reason not to work. When you look at windows, it all works magically, well it's not magic it's just done smart. On GNU+Linux smart thinking like this is not welcome, it never has been. Instead they rely on huge amounts of people that develop this software, to perpetually update their programs for no reason, but to satisfy a meaningless number of a dependency.

This shows that Linux is/ will become just as bad as Windows or some other proprietary software. Linus really needs to step down. Open Source exists so it can be available to everyone, regardless to anything let alone silly politics. Linus is clearly a very xenophobic man (evident by his posts) and has no place to decide anymore.

As still a young dev, I haven't even finished my college, this seems nice to see even though I probably wont be able to find a job. I feel like it's nice to see a great filter since there are a lot of so called programmers that do web dev these days. I find it laughable to think that these are the programmers and all they know how to do is js and html/css. This will better the world and make people learn more, as they should. I am learning absolutely everything there is and right now I could write in any language (except ASM, not quite there yet) even if I have never worked in it. With a few google searches I will learn the basic syntax. With AI, people are losing jobs on a huge rate, which might be sad but this is new tech and every tech changes the world. People probably complained about losing their jobs when computers were made, or diggers when heavy machines were made. It's normal and sooner people understand that the better. I just hope governments are going to recognize these problems. If I can't go to the wild and survive on my own, then provide me with basics for human survival in modern society like it is done in Germany for example.

My college uses moodle, some might say that it's fine, perhaps. It sure does the job but I always hated it for some reason. Could it be the lack of organization from my college or is it the limitation of the interface I am not sure.

I am sad but there are still a lot of better ones like beelink systems that appeal to me more than a nuc. Still I got a 6th gen back home and it sits unused since I don't have a good use for it.
