People worried about LG. Use Android, iOS and Windows. Use Facebook and TikTok! Use WhatApp and get shocked TikTok keeps all data, video, images, text and reads it. Same as WhatsApp. Drive a Tesla. Have that Ring on the door and other devices.
Go figure. People are strange.
And yes, that ME and PSP are on every cpu since I can't remember, Thinkpad T60 was probably one of the last ones without spy tech.

That makes no sense. If antisocial "media" platforms make 1000's out of you, while you think that is a "free service", it makes sense for them to pay you, not the other way around.

"without similar government subsidization" has any US company ever given such incentives? Or accept rescue or any money for gov?
In Europe take a look at VW, owned by the German gov. They are in trouble only because their CEO's and others who decide where they should go and do, they have no idea what they are doing. Zero. Grab a random person on the street and make it VW CEO that it will be much better.

First of all, they never ever never will delete anything. Same as Google or Facebook, they never ever delete a single byte. Even if you permanent delete and they say they deleted something. And that is no secret, Facebook says that.
They need to implement a way to start fresh. Until that happens, handle it.
The only way to start fresh is to use your own models at home. They always start fresh.
Why do you need those online models? Probably you get the same exact ouput from most of offline models.

It was nice to use on vscode with offline Ollama but today notices it is not updated anymore. So, alternatives you use?
From github:
"Note: The continuedev/continue repository is no longer actively maintained and is read-only for all users."
From continue.dev:
"Continue has joined Cursor
Continue was acquired by Cursor. Our mission was always to ensure developers are amplified, not automated, and that commitment carries on in the work ahead.
It was an honor to build with the Continue community. Thank you to each and every one of you who helped us create a pioneering open-source coding agent.
What we built together pushed the boundaries of what AI developer tooling could be, and our open-source codebase remains freely available as a foundation for others."

Always remember that Facebook pays phone makers to install 4 Facebook apps on the phones.
If you remove the Facebook app, there are still 3 hidden services that keep telling Facebook all you do on the smartphone.
You need to connect the smartphone with "Developer mode" active and enable Debug so you can connect via adb and list and remove the apps.
You might need to install Andoid SDK that has adb command works on Windows and Linux.
You can remove the spyware malware from Facebook with this commands:
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.facebook.appmanager
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.facebook.katana
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.facebook.services
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.facebook.system
This works on Samsung and Redmi but should work on most smartphones.
You should install some kind of local VPN to block internet access for any app and allow only apps that you need or trust. NoRootFirewall is a great option.
Also install a PiHole so it can resolve ads/spyware/malware before it reaches the net and block all Facebook domains.

Why trust any data the site presents, when you search for facebook and it shows nothing about that site. The worst data mining company of the world and shows nothing. I haven't tried google but I bet it is the same zero info.
This reminds me of ryanair that only has the facebook pixel on the checkout page, so anyone checking the site will report it as fb pixel free!!!
