Not that this is a wholesale defense of DEI initiatives, but what you're describing was exactly the state of affairs before DEI policies.

It depends. Are there any apps you want to know about specifically? I'm running CalyxOS right now and can try.

My banking apps work fine, surprisingly. And some Google (Gmail, Phone, and Fi) apps too, surprisingly, but not all (eg Meet, Messages, and Fit)
