<p>"Are your legs so long you have to sit with your knees pressed against the back of the seat in front of you or something? If so I suppose that's understandable."<p>Yes and also for people with long legs, seated in a typical airline seat, their knees will be significantly higher than the top of the seat cushion. So, they get caught up in the sweep of a reclining seatback ahead.</p>

<p>Huh, I never heard that one.  Extra gets you more frequency privileges (nice not having to worry so much about band edges) but IMO the real benefit is being able to enjoy reciprocal operating under CEPT when traveling abroad.</p>

<p>It's been a while since I've done it, but I think it's still possible, though a pain in the ass, to put custom ringtones on an iPhone.  It involved renaming a .m4a audio file with to have a .m4r extension and then somehow getting it on the phone.  Worth it to have the opening to "Eye of the Tiger" as a ringtone.</p>
