Kmett is a legend in Haskell. He writes and maintains tens of libraries - since the 2000s. Even before LLMs, Kmett had an output like most of us can do only with LLMs. Seriously, the guy is a coding machine.

Because then you would actually learn something. What else?
I don’t know what correction to make because you are not even wrong. You are _kinda_ wrong in comparing math and computing via a subset of relation, but it also doesn’t make much sense. If you consider computing as constructive math it should be a subset, but those are not sets, so it doesn’t really help.

Ur computer is a physical system and some aspects of it uncomputable. You cant approximate or predict everything. Picture it as billiard balls modeling a circuit, you can’t tell whether it halts, meaning you don’t know where the balls will be.
Or a program that knocks out a bottle when it finds a counter example for whatever . U can’t tell whether it will spill the liquid.
And you have as well the problems of approximating the continuous with bits, you’ll always lose information

You guessed wrong, and if the author writes the full essay in whatever language the AI translation should be good enough to pass as human. Shit happens because ppl are not using it for translation but for generation and to avoid thinking

No it’s not. I don’t care if it’s hand written or not. I care that the author takes the time to express themselves and think through. It’s not the style, and if the author can’t write, probably they haven’t thought it thru. If the idea is hard to write down clearly the it’s probably not a very good idea. I can not really imagine knowing what to say but not knowing how to write it.
Unfortunately, work is hard, research is hard, but people think they have a magic solution now. They don’t.
AI written content screams “I didn’t take the time to think this through, but I need some blog visits anyway”
Now any idiot can have a blog and flood the internet with half baked thoughts.

Funny, this kind of knowledge used to be a common theme in ML/DS roles. Funny to see that people are thinking about it now by talking to AI (the article does look very AI written). Funny that people can enter very deep rabbit holes because they didn’t study something and guess they are making progress on something that is commonly known. Dunning Krueger prime time 2026
