For m, I'm demotivated to work on many ideas thinking that anyone can easily copy it or OpenClaw/Nanobot will easily replicate 90% of that unctionality.

So now need to think of different kind of ideas, something on line of games that may take multiple iteration to get perfected.

CraftMyGame can make something like retro street fighter(not need to be perfect) ? If it can, and allow me to export the code(I would like to add those game to some of the apps I'm planning), you'll get paying customer.

I have different take on this, with AI coming into mobile interface, the context about what is present on the screen becomes important, user will like to know what is present on the screen and verify answers from AI frequently.

Liquid glass UI with transparency may allow user to keep that context without completely putting AI user interface aside.

Ask HN: How should I deal with US based client not paying?

Hi,

I am currently dealing with a US based client, not paying me for my work. This was mainly a payroll company for which I worked for around 3 years.

In general their payment were delayed, but they used to come in 2-3 months. Unfortunately, I kept working after 2nd year without renewing the contract and at the end of 3rd years, payment started having more and more delays.

I've currently stopped working for them but working for same company via different payroll provider.

The previous payroll company haven't paid me for my last 3 months of work for them, but actually client has informed me that they have paid to the payroll company for the invoices I raised.

The total amount is around $10000, it may be small amount for someone in USA, but it is certainly big enough to run my whole family for a year here in India.

This payroll company has now been acquired by a bigger company and may have ceased their operations.

Do I have any avenues to recover this amount ? Looking for suggestions from the community.

Currently making apps using convex.dev, how would you describe differnce between Jazz and Convex ?

Convex have their own db, would Jazz work with any database ?

People can mirror mobile screen to TV/Monitor and still use it.

With the tri-fold mobiles and Samsung Dex like feature coming, that day may not be far when mobile become the single work machine.

Recently I came to know about https://www.membrane.io/, which also follows similar approach, but it looks like that is more for internal apps and small projects.

How would you compare DBOS with that ?
