Four died of health problems, one was killed by the police, and one police officer was killed by the crowd. It’s only fair to say they killed one IMO.

At least 25 people were killed during the “peaceful” BLM protests this year. The article implies that 11 is a more accurate number.

Both of these numbers are minuscule, on the order of people killed by vending machines and bath tubs. So they are dangerous in the sense that bathtubs are dangerous.

I wrote an Android app in Kotlin to post SMS from the Trump and Biden 2020 presidential campaigns to Twitter so that these private lines of communication to voters can be publicly documented. I originally wrote this using Twilio, but Twilio does not let you send or receive SMS from short codes. So I bought a cheap used Android phone and got the cheapest texting plan for it that I could find (US Mobile).

Lessons learned:

Kotlin is amazing.

Trump texts some stupid shit, Biden's texts are pretty reasonable. Also Trump constantly offers 7x to 8x match on donations and most journalists think this is a total lie. Example:
