Is that really difficult to analyse elections in a non-biased way? This article is really missing the point.

New comment by sMarsIntruder in "Detecting LLM-Generated Texts with “Classical” Machine Learning"

Am I wrong or it doesn’t seem to detect the em-dashes as clear warning signal?

Opus 4.8 - High

> how many days in the week have the letter d in them?

> Two - Sunday and... wait, let me actually check. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The ones with a "d": Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday all have one. Monday too. So that's Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday - four days.

A couple of advices:

- add some screenshots or a demo video to the repo

- I’m not familiar with Plaid, and I’m not probably the only one. A list of main banks/countries probably would make sense? Or just a link that I could not easily find.

New comment by sMarsIntruder in "Ferrari Luce"

It’s the first Ferrari EV: they had to think disruptively and I really appreciate the courage. Love the design IMHO, looking forward to see the street performances.

It’s like what Perplexity did with the PayPal userbase.

Not sure why a bribe would’ve involved: it’s a win-win situation, especially near elections.

I agree, but I started noticing the em-dash usage spike.

New comment by sMarsIntruder in "Show HN: Browser Harness – Gives LLM freedom to complete any browser task"

sMarsIntruder — Sat, 25 Apr 2026 06:13:29 +0000

I personally encountered that problem with browser use and I developed a listener on top that gets triggered when there’s a captcha, so it just switch off chrome headless so the user can solve it before proceeding.

New comment by sMarsIntruder in "Tesla's supervised self-driving software gets Dutch okay, first in Europe"

sMarsIntruder — Sat, 11 Apr 2026 08:43:22 +0000

This is FUD. Supervised means that the camera watches you in realtime keeping attention.

But I get this type of comments just to go against one person.

So if you say BS you can just add /s and it’s fine?

New comment by sMarsIntruder in "Tesla's supervised self-driving software gets Dutch okay, first in Europe"

No, it’s not.

This solution went through millions of kilometres of data and tests.

RDW did a really thorough job since we’re talking about Europe: https://www.rdw.nl/en/news/2026/rdw-explanation-of-european-...

Stop. Spreading. FUD.

New comment by sMarsIntruder in "RDW Approval of Tesla FSD in Netherlands (With Rest of EU to Follow)"

sMarsIntruder — Fri, 10 Apr 2026 22:20:51 +0000

The best part is not just that Tesla got provisional validity in the Netherlands, it is that the approval appears to come after a long testing process and with actual public reasoning attached.

Even if EU regulations are painfully strict, getting this far means Tesla FSD has cleared a serious technical and regulatory review.

Upgrading decades old legacy systems? Good luck with that.

New comment by sMarsIntruder in "Quantum computing bombshells that are not April Fools"

sMarsIntruder — Thu, 02 Apr 2026 05:55:00 +0000

I’m impressed by the BTC obsession: this will definitely impact the banking sector as a whole even before. Quantum FUD, here we come.

Basically Europe solution to state/companies surveillance is an European managed surveillance, plus a CBDC to get even more into their citizens. Know your enemies, there are solutions out there.
