I don't think that is true, if your only work at your job is coding, you should be afraid but most folks don't just code, they engineer solutions. In that way, AI can't destroy jobs anytime soon.

While I was experimenting with Flux, I stumbled upon a nice use case - professional headshot I wanted to quickly validate this idea so I put some sample images and a payment link. It went instant viral with over 500k views and a lot of sales over night.

I suck at writing. I lost many freelancing gigs, potential collaborations, and sales, because of my emails were terrible. It immediately turned off anyone wanting to connect with me.

When OpenAI launched ChatGPT, it was almost a god sent for me. Since day one, I completely relied on it to improve my emails, posts, messages, and tweets occasionally.

However, there is a little bit friction - having to jump between tabs to say what I wanted to say. The overall process is automatable. So, I fantasized about building a Chrome extension to improve the process for a while. And finally put some time aside to got it together.

The popular writing tools right now are so intrusive with constant popups, I wanted something that can fix my writing at a one-off click, no distraction.

I offer all the features at $5/mo for unlimited writing. No need to constantly shill the upgrade notice with popups. And I hope to keep it that way forever.

I always thought there is a room for mini web games in 2024. Currently no decent site to simply play some little games is a bummer. I would appreciate games like this to play between my coding sessions. And I am obviously not interested in downloading games, I am interested in web native games.

on a similar note- I am looking for a better alternative to Google my watchlist. Such a highly underrated feature. But it deserves some love from Google. A better categories, ability to see watched movies, and leave some personal review will be awesome. I even thought about building it myself but I am afraid there is no official APIs for that.

I tried to create a similar service a couple of months ago but it didn't take off. Good luck to you.

I think it needs a lot of trust before people can start posting on our platform. For example- Upwork has built the reputation for that. So, bootstrappers like ourselves can't survive that period. I think that's the reason for my failure while creating that platform.

Small suggestion: you are calling it upwork but no signups for devs is a real bummer. If you aren't ready to take outside devs yet, at least put a waiting list where devs can put their email and other info to be contacted later.

Interesting tool but that warning that I have to run an command to make it work, really turned off me. Also, I am curious if you distribute an executable via Github, you need to still apply for Apple dev program?
