Multitrack field recorder with automatic cloud sync for iPhone. I use it for hi-fi recording of band practice and sharing demos with bandmates/collaborators. Great way to send stems too as it runs on the Mac as well and has a built in mixer. There's a social graph so you can send someone a session by typing in their handle and granting access.

working on an app that lets you take multitrack “voice memos” by plugging your phone into an interface. then the audio is automatically synced to the cloud, akin to a primitive dropbox for audio. there’s a simple mixer to adjust levels for local playback. for now i use it to get hi fi recordings of band practice and shows.

also annoying how when you "sample" a book the title of the book is displayed over every single page. certainly makes me want to buy it just to get rid of that annoying view... the update just sucks.

Yea I felt the same way and cried internally for a bit and then forgot about it. I appreciate someone writing about it. I really hope they bring it back. I don't think the redesign really brought about any improvements... just change for the sake of change.

built this https://mixtape.ai entirely in swiftui. some hiccups along the way but overall i don’t regret it. the speed of iteration with swiftui is just incredible. you can A/B feature and ui combinations like there’s no tomorrow.
