It's not a stretch to imagine people wearing headsets that get the broadcasted speech data and then replay it in the user's native language.

Ah perfect thanks. I have codex for personal projects but Claude at work and they get mad if I start going into extra usage. Claude code does most of what I need but would be nice to get another layer of abstraction so I could have like a chief of staff agent that manages the separate coding teams working on features.

Are people actually paying API pricing for claude to hook it up to Pi or openclaw or is there a secret trick? The subscription price is palatable but for me the token price generally isn't.

Something I've noticed especially with fable at work is it seems to be smarter, so it takes fewer tokens and burns less of my usage than smaller models would for similar tasks.

Company I work for got sued because someone filled out a form to get contacted, got a phone call as is expected after filling out said form, then sued because they're on the do not call list. Why did you fill out the form then?

Agree but it's helpful to remember how we were personally benchmarking. I remember people saying stuff like "haha I asked gpt4 for xyz function and the typescript didn't even compile". We're so far beyond that now, we just adapt quickly.

Sure it is but there's nothing so helpful here. The prompt is usually here's the ticket and then telling it not to use so many silly comments and calling so and so an asshole for doing something a stupid way.

I recently customized my own Bazzite install to use hyprland plus other customizations, there's really not much different than what omarchy did. It's pretty much that with some pre installed apps. Anyone that gave them funding is an idiot IMO.

I can't believe how many people are in favor of it. Like it's so positive in the comments I'd think it's astroturfing. The code is the result of my work however it got done, and if I don't document or explain it well enough then that's a separate issue. Did you want to see my slack messages to my mentor too? Or how about all the stack overflows I read? Maybe I should voice record all the times I swore about Gary the junior dev not documenting something? It's plenty obvious when the code is AI written it's probably just safe to assume 95% of things have been at least AI assisted. Just look at the drop in SO volume, we're not writing less code we're writing more (rip GitHub uptime).

A friend of mine who has at most written some SQL joins recently bought a cheap thermal printer on Amazon. The printer was meant to be used with a heavily ad and microstransaction laden app to operate over Bluetooth. He was able to use codex to hook it up to his MacBook and reverse engineer the printer then make a web service so he can print whatever he wants from anywhere.

I agree with you in that I now feel like a 100x engineer, but I think it would have taken me a long time to figure that one out pre AI.

There is incredible irony in having a giant distracting color swirly and unnecessary AI tab on the right side of the article.
