Empedocles wrote in verse. Greek scientific writings used to be written entirely in verse instead of prose. He wrote in Latin, but a cool example of something like this that survived is Lucretius' On the Nature of things (De Rerum Natura).

Companies are importing labor so they can avoid pay competitive wages to native workers. If you need to hire people from other countries they should have the same pay and protections as everyone else.

Calling it a faux pas implies that being treated as women is a tiny, inconsequential thing for trans women. It means the world to me.

If I "retained" masculine interests, it's because I still enjoyed them, even after I no longer felt pressure to act like a man.

I played Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, and preferred beautiful/cute games before I realized I was trans. I probably would have played more if I didn't care about my friends calling me a f--. I also like plenty of "guy" things but so do plenty of cis women. I had this exciting period of trying all sorts of new things when I came out and I'm only just starting to see what I truly enjoy when I don't worry about the opinions of others.

The parent pointed out that there are financially successful games targeted at women that AAA studios won't make. Corporations are made up of people who have their own biases. I know so many people who would kill for a more modern Sims game.

Most of the complaints I've seen are about men being rude and aggressive.

I can tell you from experience that it's a lot scarier to date men.

FTM HRT includes testorone. This debate hinges on what hormone therapy does to your body.

No one is arguing that trans women should be able to compete as women without being on HRT.

Plenty of people are talking about things that don't matter. They're trying to ban amateur leagues from including trans women even if the league wants to include them.
