> usage patterns
IMO interceptors are bad. they hide what might get transformed with the API call at the place it is being used.
> Likewise, every response I get is JSON. There's no reason to manually unwrap the response into JSON every time.
This is not true unless you are not interfacing with your own backends. even then why not just make a helper that unwraps as json by default but can be passed an arg to parse as something else

After reading your comment I take back my last sentence. I dont think the LLM would have been able to create that website becaue what LLM would have created would have been an uninspiring husk of tutorials. The website had a certain personality to it with the choice of games he would make and the "interesting" problems he would demonstrate and give solutions to.

its slower than text mode. basically you can print anything as long as you can convert it to monochrome bitmap before sending. But the thermal printers have anotehr mode which prints extremely fast if your data is textual with rudimentary formatting like order slips.

I have tried push back but then the other guy that says "I can do it" gets the ticket handed to him.
Me: we cant do X bceause it has Y and Z implcations for end users
Manager: It fits our brand and we have to do it.
Dev: I can do it and the implications are mitigated by (handwavy explanation)
Maanger: sounds good. (To me) Maybe you can make a (useless) diagram for this featuer that will be realy handy for KT
--Days later--
Feature is delivered and the Y and Z were ethier not mitigated or there was a attempt-ish to mitigate them

I as a developer cannot refuse to not build as-is what was signed off by product manager in figma.
Recently had to put so many huge blurs that there was screen tearing like effect whenver you srcolled a table. AND No i was not allowed to use prebake-blurs because they wouldnt resize "responsively"

> How many of us have a reminiscence that starts “looking back, the most life-changing part of my primary or secondary education was ________,”
For me it was a website with turotirals on how to make flash games. It literally launched my career and improved the quality of life for my whole family by an order of magnitude.
I am primarily the naysayer of AI but I admit that current LLMs could have easily replicated the whole website.

Also since dreams are built from the combinations of experiences that brain already knows so we cannot die in a dream as our brain does not know how to replicate what it would feel like after being dead. Basically LLMs also cannot produce truly novel ideas.

If you are from US I want to let you know about a scam. Here in asian countries people with good enlgish accents are recruited to pretend to be US citizens and claim benifits that are unused by the real people. There is a whole proper process of how this works. The recruit is given full identity information and a software to make the call appear from the US. The officials on the US side are in on this and get a share for each successfull claim.
