Our company has quite a few teams who have done in-depth training recordings and demos over the years to educate peers but it feels like a lot of these efforts just end up as mp4 files in file share folders or CMS where content goes to die because its not easily discoverable.
In an era of tools like Plesk and Jellyfin are there any similar tools out there to self host a server and create a nice library of videos with some decent tagging/metadata, previews etc? Optionally something that might timesync related PPT and respect the .vtt files that WebEx produces for subtitles?
Looking for any reasonable leads, including maybe a django or node project that has done some large percentage of this that could be made usable with some polish.
To clarify this would be for internal use.
