Having family in Cuba, I guess this could work, but it doesn’t scale, because someone will inevitably steal your horses for dinner, when you aren’t looking.

Technically the US did blockade Cuba from receiving oil, specifically from Venezuela. Blocking tankers, boarding them, and even confiscating them.

The embargo continues, as it has for decades, but the oil blockade is a real thing.

You can turn off crossplay in the Xbox privacy settings. I do this for BF6, as I’m old and can’t keep up with MnK players. ;-)

I find this interesting… I grew up in a Latin family and learned to shower at night. I rationalized it as, not going to bed dirty, and you aren’t going to get dirtier just sleeping anyway.

We've just launched a JIRA plugin that helps technology and product leaders optimize sprint performance on scrum boards (kanban support is coming soon).

This is a tool that I've personally always wanted in my arsenal growing and mentoring engineering teams, and had to always hack together with spreadsheets and API calls. The aim of NitroIQ was to not only present JIRA data in a clean and beneficial way, but to provide advice, scorecards, and "prescriptions" to help leaders fine-tune their teams and also find where the bottlenecks in process are.

I can say after years of negotiating with enterprise software vendors, the reason I feel prices are being hiked, is that they finally have to show revenue growth to Wall Street. I don’t believe they’re inflating prices “just because”. I’m seeing companies (looking at you, Datadog), that are raising rates while their stock gets pummeled. I may be drawing a false correlation here, but I suspect prices are up because the era of cheap money and frothy stock valuations is ending and now it’s time to show revenue growth.

To the parent’s point, VW was saying for recent years they were going fully electric. This EU bill doesn’t harm them. In fact, it likely helps them against slower-moving competitors.
