What’s the point? Unless you are going to ruthlessly throw stuff away you’re still just accumulating things, tracking it doesn’t make the issue of unused clutter go away. Sure you move some stuff to a cupboard further away but it’s not difficult to intuit most of this stuff, and now you have a mess of stickers

MacBook Air - mid range mid price, good quality, basically as functional as the Pro now. The price of the Neo is very compelling if they want it for light duty work though. And obviously high end is high end but those people know who they are

Agree, the AI companies aren’t able to improve the base models so they’re pivoting to making add-ons like “agents” which seem to only be instructions atop the base models.

GHG emissions from boat transport are actually a very low % of the total GHG emissions from producing that food. Moving it across the country on a truck would certainly produce more emissions than shipping it by boat from abroad.

Yeah suggestions are way too obvious. I put cycling in as an interest and it gave me 4 different helmets to choose from… errr

I think in general that suggesting items for peoples hobbies is usually a bad idea because if someone is passionate about cycling they probably know the exact gear they want, me who knows nothing about this topic can’t choose a good gift.

It’s better to buy gifts you do know something about, eg if I’m really in to kitchen knives I could buy a nice knife for someone because everyone needs a good knife and I can choose a good one.

As someone who lives in an apartment and has a baby who I want to be able to sleep at night - this idea can go to hell, I’d have our strata rules ban this service so fast. There’s a reason cities zone areas for parties/bars and others for residential.

IMO the internet is just a bad place to look for reviews nowadays, unless you really trust someone and know they aren’t being paid to review the product. Likewise Amazon reviews I consider mostly fake. For products I want to buy I look at what brick and mortar stores sell, they have skin in the game and can weed out the truly bad.
