I’ve just been trying to get my hands on local compute period. I have this (perhaps irrational l) fear that personal computers will be increasingly expensive for the next half decade or so due to AI demand and I value having my own device much more now than just a chat bot.

The loss is tragic but I’m sorry GPS jamming was not a factor here. There was a NOTAM indicating it’s going on, the pilots should have been aware and it appears when they reached out with a request the jamming was stopped.

It was a visual approach at a moonless night at an airport in high terrain, this was pilot error unfortunately.

Dario thinks of policy as if the Berlin Wall fell yesterday, he is so detached from the reality of the world.

The way the world economy is right now with coercion being the norm between countries, there cannot be a global body for anything, certainly not one that is based here in the US.

That is true. It’s a big corporate so I understand why purists dislike it but as a business it has done well.

I think it has had latent ICBM capability for over a decade now but the government hasn't allowed one to be created. Their pacing threat is China and to a lesser extent Pakistan, those are adequately covered by their current inventory.

That is insane, Block seems to be very poorly run. The headcount still seems bloated, they'll blame AI and layoff more people for their own incompetence.

Prediction market creators making the case that their existing is some sort of a market efficiency play is the most laughable thing I have ever heard.

SC made a mistake in the Draft King/Fan duel saga and has unleashed the worst kind of market, takes up may too much money and time especially from young people.

I got the Kinesis Gaming split 5 years ago and honestly it has been a game changer. My wrist pain went away, takes about a week to get used to it but it has been a welcome change. I also feel like I can type faster on it.
