Almost 10 years ago at my university in Chile. My professor of Computer Networks invited a PhD Student that was working on the ALMA Observatory [0] doing some research on signal processing.

What stayed with me from that talk was that all the data that was captured from those massive antennas was packaged in boxes, loaded in a cargo van and travel 1.600 kilometers to Santiago to be uploaded into the systems.

I'm still happy with my Lenovo P50 with an Intel Xeon 1505m, Nvidia Quadro m2000m (4gb), 32gb ddr4 ram and 512gb ssd.

It runs Factorio and Zelda BOTW, why do I need more? :)

I wasn't able to wire the inputs to the gate, so my career at ChipCorp ended at level 1.

Also it would ne nice to have a level zero where you create the gates from transistors.

Still remember those times watching movies or documentaries by parts. Sometimes I started watching just to discover that part 8 was missing :(

edit: in previous years some anime communities uploaded episodes to photo sites. They chunked the episodes in small JPGs with the video data encrypted. Just download hundreds of photos, join them and you got the episode :)
