The core problem is that code is always changing, every single day from Monday to Friday. And it gets worse when other code/projects depend on it

Just do interviews with at least 5 companies at the same time. Pick the first which offers you the position, semi ghost others(keep them for backup), profit and no hurt feelings.

They encourage finding bugs and then begging money for open source stuff. This is crazy. 100k should go to people like Gary.
