Just a heads up for people. This will not work (as far as I could get working) with a system running 0.3.x backups to s3 and trying to restore from them.

For anyone following this example, one thing to note that I figured out the hard way is that this line from @zackify SHOULD BE HIGHTLIGHTED...

* "Just need to have "LITESTREAM_REPLICA_URL" and the key id and secret env vars set when running the script"

... and that attempting to load the variables using `dotenv` will not work!!

Got it....you beat me to it. I had just figured that part out!! I didn't understand that part. ALSO, and this might be helpful for others, in the releases section, if you expand the little blue link at the bottom that says something like "see the other 35 assets", then the VFS extension will be downloadable from there!

Neat. What I wasn't able to find was the dynamic library, just the `litestream` executable. Was there some secret you used for the litestream dylib? Thanks in advance!

You and me both!!! If you ever find that, please remember this and point me to it as well. My thoughts were: use all the free capacity of the drives you mentioned to make a filesystem like HDFS which distributes blocks all over the place.. :)

I am very surprised that there aren't more people/companies announcing "offsite backup capabilities" for JIRA or Confluence, etc.. I did just search for scripts that can do this, I'd probably pay a few bucks for something like that at this point.

Great idea. I am finding it difficult to use however. I filed one bug, and it seems that there may be a few more. Maybe there is too much load on the service, but it seems that some of the basic functions are functioning as planned. I look forward to seeing if it is just in passing, because the idea is super!

One more question... How effective would this be for a `network questionable` environment, if I were let's say doing a mobile app and wanted to incorporate this type of solution in for an offline first type of experience?
