this is quite sad. i used to love and recommend sennheiser wholeheartedly. when i migrated back to the states they were the pinnacle brand for me. :(

Mostly I am quite tired of the 30 step onboarding funnel all apps have. I was trying out a fitness app and the second I opened it, I was about step 9 into it and I just deleted the app.

The slop debt will always come to collect.

A certain big PaaS I won't name here has had lots of clusterfucks in the last 3 months. The CEO is extremely bought into AI and "code not mattering anymore". He's also constantly talking about the meteoric growth because Claude and other AI providers are using railway as default suggestions.

The toll has come to collect and now a lot of real production users are looking at alternatives.

The reality is the market is rewarding slop and "velocity now". There will come a time where it will reward quality again.

In my experience fewer skills is significantly better.

When you have this performative folder of skills the AI wastes a bunch of tool calls, gets confused, doesn't get to the meat of the problem.

The problem is paas platforms and other platforms don't really support codeberg or any other alternatives.

It's hilarious how I must have like 80 games there, with zero intention of ever installing Epic, or even playing those games. Yet I must "claim" them... just in case. I bet the majority of users do that hahaha

I had a brief period of that of about a month, and quickly realized the limitations that come with specifically coding using AI agents. I now still use AI agents but step by step with me steering it. Otherwise it turns into slop no matter how sophisticated the guard rails and skill files.
