Huh, I just read this a couple of days ago. Found it fascinating.

Though the version I read had a different name for the main character, and several other minor differences, to this review... I am confused.

Looks like equation art, which my best mate used to do a lot of back when we were at university in the mid 00's. Defining formulas for R, G and B values, and then graphing the values and packing them into images. Was kind of fun!

My CLAUDE.md is deliberately very short, and only includes very specific rules like "never list yourself as a co-author or committer in git commits". Claude will very regularly ignore this rule, apologize every time I tell it to fix it, update its memories, etc. and then an hour later do the exact same thing again.

The most recent phone numbers I actually remember are those I learned and used just before getting a smartphone. I guess tapping on a screen doesn't quite give you that same effect!

I love when watching shows in English, but they have to add subtitles of English speakers. Anecdotally it seems to be most common for New Zealanders speaking with a strong accent, which I find hilarious (as an Australian).

Until you start learning kanji and then some of the readings of words are just completely irregular. Why is 明後日, the day after tomorrow, read as あさって???

If there's a button to bypass all their automated systems and get to a person, then far too many people will press it - nearly entirely people whose problems can already be resolved by the automated systems.
