Mostly it seems people are excited about sending a whatsapp message to it and it will turn off all the lights in their office for example. Do similarly for emails, calendars, etc. that is, of course, you’re willing to accept the Faustian bargain it presents you.

I was a strong user for years but I would now suggest https://www.hevyapp.com/. It has everything strong does but also a web app where you can create your programs on.

Most importantly for this crowd, you get a rest api to your data if you spring for the cheap premium plan. Csv export is free though I’m pretty sure

I have 128gb in PC (largely because I can) and android studio, a few containers and running emulators will take a sizable bite into that. My 18gb MacBook would be digging into swap and compressing to get there.

I personally find PWAs to be an objectively worse experience for even run of the mill brochureware apps. That said, i also believe consumers should be allowed to make that choice for themselves.
