Seems like the heavy focus by institutions is a mistake because you have huge mining issues where ai is eating the miners, while etherium with proof of stake rather than proof of work has none of these issues, and perhaps in the long run will eventually be more valuable than btc which is it loses all its miners will actually vanish.

This is a nice resource. Personally I use linux vst plugin on bespoke synth. But bitwig, renoise and reaper all support linux for those who want or need commercial audio applications on linux. With pipewire and new kernel changes everything is coming together for linux to perform much better than windows + asio.

I've been unemployed for 3 years now have been continuously applying for 3 years and being 53, being non-stop rejected despite all my skills and 25+ years of experience. Its utterly gruesome and the government put me onto welfare to work which basically gives me 9 months to find work or have my access to food and healthcare taken away which they don't even do to people on death row in prison. The way we are treating non-billionaires right now is breath taking.

An even bigger problem is that Trump is developing a system of brutal punishment for the poor while AI is taking away a huge chunk of work out there while the rich people who own Ai pay no taxes, so if nothing changes we will see a total collapse of local government and state government as their tax income goes to less than 0.

Yeah this is what we are seeing today, also its not just junior jobs going, according to Amazon they are using it to get rid of expensive senior employees while they are actually holding onto juniors using ai tools.
We have seen a lot of use of h1b and outsourcing despite the massive job shortage. Seeing lots of fake job sites filled with ai generated fake openings and paid membership for access to "premium jobs."
They're using ICE to effectively pay half the country to murder the other half, but the ICE budget is limited so that automated systems can then gun down the ICE community to replace 99.9% of humans with machines.
Ultimately this is great for Russia because they'll still be able to invade even if they have only 300 soldiers left in their military, after they hit a low orbit nuke blast to shutdown the Ai US, basically only Melania swinging her purse at the troops will be one of the few left alive to resist.

There's no point because there's few things as human as writing a novel. Also I think these models work great for technical generation of things like code, but it doesn't take imagination to do engineering work. Also look at the way these data centers compete with humans for resources like power and clean water, and the surveillance nightmare we're looking at with the dovetailing of authoritarian rule and total information awareness.
