at this point I just assume it's a given that he's tweeting misleading information. it seems like he removes all attempts removing community notes on himself as well. I just don't think the lay person on twitter, which is dumber than a an average layperson, can learn these things in 1 graph or 200 chars.

AI art is theft, especially when created via text prompt. Drawings needs to drawn, paintings need to be painted etc. Art via prompt is 'find and take'.

it's really not. the instant some insider starts selling the price will crash instantly dropping the price for other buyers. theres probably some momentum calculation when that happens but its not 25B

I'm pretty much full time on cursor from vscode. I don't trust it for big code blocks, but a control-k + reasonable command (I could have typed up myself) is saving me quite a bit of time.

all the "creative" gen ai does a thing worse and more annoying than what exists now. the first computers did calculations faster and faster with immediate utility (for defense mostly)

the offensive part is that it's creative theft by digesting other people's creative works then reworked and regurgitated. It's 'fine' when it's technical documentation and reference work, but that's not human expression.

I was searching for a uniquely named company by exact name (think: verizon), and it was 80% of the way down the results page. Google knew exactly what I wanted to see and flooded my screen with alternatives who had paid them.

exposure and opportunity means so much in professional life. There's a lot of value out there but someone has to find and promote it.
