Give them a free copy of Clean Code[1], I started to care about my code more after I read that book.

You cannot sit and review each commit, the best you can do is to make them care about code.

At a glance, IO2014 seems clearly focussed on:

- Design.

- Pushing Chrome/ Web apps

- Games and wearables on Android

Seems like the start of pushing mWeb instead of apps for consuming web content.

Seems like oat file might be enclosed in an ELF container and might support linking of shared libraries.

From my experience most of the H1B candidates who might join a company with lower wage at first, can and will negotiate for higher pay when they change company. I think the days of hiring H1B candidates at lower wages and thinking of _retaining_ them are gone and the companies do realize that.

when you think; for $199 you can buy a HTC one and flash an AOSP ROM vs pay the same for MotoX. I would go with HTC One every time.
