<p>Slightly related. But I’ve had single-sided deafness all my life (which means all I’ve experienced is mono audio) and now with this shift from stereo to spatial. I was wondering if some kind HN users could fill me in on what I’m missing out. (By listening to stereo tracks in mono and observing how it sounds or anything that could give me a picture of that— is it crowded? Distorted? Etc). <p>This right here is already happening in pricing for Uber passes. I’ve had the first month’s pass for a dirt cheap price and then it kept increasing over the months until I discovered I was not happy paying an increasing price. So, one month I did not renew my pass and bam - the price went back to its lower default price again...</p>
