Well, of course they are. Those who weren’t “just fine” already left. But it’s not about how fine they feel, it’s about how healthy it is.

I’m on hetzner. My IP address was in some dnsrbl lists. I appealed and got my ip clean. Now I can send emails to gmail and outlook and they arrive successfully. I don’t see where all this fuss comes. You set up your server according to google and you are good to go. That’s all.

Nah, that’s FUD. I had a pretty easy time setting it up myself. You only have to setup SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Which is pretty easy by itself. You even have online services to check that you have set it up everything correctly.

What I did was to ignore the initial letter, and nothing happened. Over the years I’ve found that not engaging is usually the best defense.

I tried to, but I didn’t find a list of projects that went open source, so I had to go by my memory. Which may have some kind of survivorship bias, as I maybe forgot those projects which went open source, but failed.

They do import data. I can see it all over Europe. But sometimes the imported data is misaligned, or lacks information.

Yeah, me too. My life was basically set up and forget. Except for that time I upgraded my instance and the upgrade came with an unexpected and unwanted IP change. Unfortunately it seemed like the new IP has been used for spam and I had to spend some time clearing my IP status. But eventually everyone understood and my IP is clear and shiny now.

I mean, I’d take advantage of that program. If it’s already installed then it probably has the permissions granted. So I’d only have to run it before recording audio.
