I see the appeal of it. It is a good start. But I don't think it's quite useful yet. This proves to be a great distribution model for an MCP project.
FWIW, this project creates two tools for a GitHub repo on demand

 fetch_cosmos_sdk_documentation
 search_cosmos_sdk_documentation

These tools would be available for the MCP client to call when it needs information. The search tool didn't quite work for me, but the fetch did. It pulled the readme and made it available to the MCP client. Like I said before, it's not so helpful at the moment. But I am interested in the possibilities.

Yes, exactly. AI isn’t gonna check things like memory management, data type overflows and such, during generation. It would be great if we catch them at compile time.
Regarding swift, totally hear you :) Also I haven’t tried generating swift code - wondering how well that would be trained as there are fewer open source codebases for that.

Aah.. I have been repeating this to my team for several days now. Thanks for putting this together.
I start every piece of work, green or brown, with a markdown file that often contains my plan, task breakdown, data models (including key fields), API / function details, and sample responses.
For the tool part, though, I took a slightly different approach. I decided to use Rust primarily for all my projects, as the compile-time checks are a great way to ensure the correctness of the generated code. I have noticed many more errors are detected in AI-generated Rust code than in any other language. I am happy about it because these are errors that I would have missed in other languages.

Thanks to the authors for doing this wonderful piece of work and sharing it with credibility. I wish people see the possibilities here. But we are after all humans. It is hard to imagine our own downfall.
Based on each individual's vantage point, these events might looks closer or farther than mentioned here. but I have to agree nothing is off the table at this point.
The current coding capabilities of AI Agents are hard to downplay. I can only imagine the chain reaction of this creation ability to accelerate every other function.
I have to say one thing though: The scenario in this site downplays the amount of resistance that people will put up - not because they are worried about alignment, but because they are politically motivated by parties who are driven by their own personal motives.
