Not sure if you're being serious, but it's high time we stop using black text on white backgrounds. Dark mode seems to be solved with charcoal backgrounds instead of flat black. But I'm tired of light mode being black on white. This has got to end and if AI ends it, fine by me.

I uploaded a picture to Google Maps once. They told me they needed to access my photos to be able to upload the picture.

A week later I get a notification “hey do you want to upload this photograph of a restaurant you took at location x?”. So Google Maps was busy rifling through my photos while I was going about my day-to-day business.

Creepy, gross and repulsive.

I can't think of many things he has said that I would agree with. On top of that he's usually angry and spiteful in pretty much everything he says. Why would I not be in constant opposition to that?

The last place I listened to Leo was that security podcast I think Leo hosting with Steve Gibson. And it just seemed devoid of any useful information whatsoever. Then one day I decided if I don't learn something I can use at work during my entire drive to work, I'm just not listening again. And that was that.

I've seen Claude Code examine the windows Event View logs and configure its own firewall rules. That was last week. Who knows what's next week.

edit: though honestly it really did take it long enough to figure out how to use PowerShell.

You just described how people are using AI in general. And I think that last step is actually a huge gap. People will brainstorm or improve their understanding of the task with AI and create something. Ideally they would hand it off to a professional for finalization like you did.

I wish a service existed where I could make something in AI (text, images, whatever), then pass that AI output to an actual human who would use it as a guide to produce an actual product.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere people can sell re-sell clothes. They can include a picture of themselves wearing the item and it replaces literally everything but the clothing with someone/someplace "prettier".

In the end the one thing that is completely honest is the portion of the picture that is the item you are re-selling. But somehow to me the entire thing feels disingenuous.
