A Windows Service is something you (generally) want running 24x7. In fact I think a Windows Service seems very much like the wrong thing to do here. Services are not the only way to schedule things in Windows.

And you can "just" use nssm to wrap any arbitrary executable with what is needed to make it a windows service.

edit: Windows can use Node and Playwright just fine. I think the only thing this needs a Mac for is to schedule and send messages as an alert.

I live in the deep south. It's hard to describe how cult-like it is right now. Trump supporters are definitely "deranged". The amount of anger they have over things that will never affect them is unhinged.

This whole concept of usernames instead of real names creates something I've lost complete trust in. With 4chan, you know exactly what you are getting. But with say Reddit, people game the system creating fake accounts that pretend to be real people having ideas and opinions that aren't paid for. It's getting hard to find places where this in-between state (usernames) aren't destroying the platform.

You should really try these tools out with an open mind. I know you won't take that last bit of advice, so this makes you not worth my time. But I can tell you this - these tools make people productive in ways you aren't understanding.

The deep south is so different from the rest of the country that it's hard to describe without hyperbole. It's true they've been misled. But what's amazing is just how gullible they are. And just how angry they can get about things that aren't remotely true or simply have zero effect on their life. After a funeral I had the pleasure of sitting at dinner with someone engrossed in the fox news culture. The things they believe to be true are simply astounding. And the shape of their world view is repulsive.
