“If” is temporary. More TPS is the question of time. In such usecase human in the loop will be eliminated as nobody, even anybody with fastest recognition, will be the slowest part.

How many industries are? How many use cases are possible?

If you solve everything, what will people do? Sitting on the beach, sipping drinks?

Massive degradation of human brains and rise of neurodegenerative illnesses as unused device starts to be erroneous?

1,000,000 TPS is good for some use cases but not publicly available…

It is question of time when even normal browsers would need some allowed fingerprint to go to sites otherwise caught by clouflare or similar wall.

“Computing” is so ubiquitous and personal today that we couldn’t imagine it. Well, for a lot of people, it is not a computing, it is a storage and viewing only. :)

I’ve been daily on internet since 1992 and I see what it does to me… and to all of us.

We don’t remember, we search for something all the time, people are anxious, we forget things, we hoard data, very young people all around the world get high speed access to adult stuff, most of people have similar stuff at home because of instagram, people are cynical, ironic, cannot discuss, do rage bait, news written to raise negative emotions because they make you click and share, hybrid wars enabled by social networks…

For sure, we could discuss here ad nauseam, but it is not the point.

Idealistic view is “people will start revolution”. No, they won’t. They are numbed down.

There is research already that use of LLM causes numbness.

I would say that almost in everything.

But 80 pct (<= Pareto) people use it as “a better Google” anyway…

You can make your devices personal - and offline (eg offline wikipedia that saturates your informational needs in 99 pct) - if you want to get out of mess described above. You can use offline software for everything. You can use open source and free software.

But don’t expect any revolution.

Most of us are too shy or too numb…and keyboard warriors.. fortunately, or unfortunately. It is point of view :)

Cheat sheet would be enough imho. I maintain a list of frequent commands, eg I don’t remember ffmpeg parameters…

But if you are in position to run kill command, you should know what to do :) Or make an aliases for frequent tasks.

I have played few of them and it seems that Opus 5.5 is the first one who really made playable PacMan clone game. On mobile as well.

Could it be because the model was somehow pre-trained? If we compare it with pelicans that are still not-perfect…

There is a recent PISA research that students slowly decline in understanding the long reads.

E.g. in one country, 21% of high school students do not even achieve “sufficient reading literacy”…

So the question should be - what are we going to do with this? LLM can produce texts but we as people will not be able to understand anyway…

Running a personal site was easy - until we started to overcomplicate it. CMS, vulnerability of it, disappearing sites that we linked in good assumption…

For those who want to use Wordpress, add wordfence plugin immediately after fresh installation.

Doomsayers are so visible now… and people are attracted by dark emotions 8 times more than good ones. So it is quite normal that “AI doom” is so chatted. If we get eventually wiped out by “aliens” (= high AGI), we won’t even know that.

Until then, it's probably better to focus on something where you or me can be useful.

“Elara” is present so many times in App Store - almost nobody would write the whole name, imho renaming the app should be taken into consideration.
