Every time I get in my car the Apple Music app prompts me to resubscribe with a full screen popup. Usually it tries 2-3 times before it stops.

Lately whenever I watch movies my remote stays in my hand so I can boost the volume during dialogue and turn it down during loud action scenes. I've had two different soundbars, one of them quite expensive, and it's an issue on both.

Is this real? I examined to their source code and found an exposed TypeScript RPC which indicates the following:

totalMembers: 4954

totalPledged: 5678872

averagePledge: 1146.320549

However the numbers on the website appear to be hardcoded in with very dramatically different numbers.

I do. I treat ChatGPT output the same as Wikipedia content. I find what I am looking for then immediately open the source to confirm. I would never in a million years take ChatGPT output or Wikipedia content and blindly reference it without doing my due diligence.

Personally I think having the option to make grok's response public can be helpful, much like a community note. Let's face it, on reddit or Facebook or YouTube the first thing people do now is go straight to the comments for context or feedback. As they say, the real answer is always in the comments.

And yet they won't do anything about sellers who change their listing to a completely different product once it gets to the 4-5 star range. Can't tell you how many times I've been looking at some tool or gadget only to glance at the reviews and see people mentioning socks.

And not just DDoS protection, but privacy. Cloudflare offers a huge amount of privacy protection which causes huge headaches for IP holders. You can read online about the feedback loop of Cloudflare/OVH for example sending automated notices back and forth. Usually the process is:

1. IP holder representative sends notice to Cloudflare 2. Cloudflare sends automated notice to account manager 3. Cloudflare informs person from step 1 of who actually hosts the site 4. Person from #1 emails web host who is probably a shady company who in turn ignores email 5. Nothing happens

I wonder how viable the referral link/referrer code method is? Based on my own YouTube viewing habits it seems like a lot of prominent channels have gone that route. Seems like it could work for the web overall. Ads would no longer have to target via cookies or browsing history because you could just serve links or offer codes related to your site's content.
