So the ex-employee has to pay up or something, whats this got to do with OpenAI the company, seems like desperate attempt to slow down the company that will likely take Apple market share for dropping the ball on AI, they should look inwards rather than lashing out litigiously.

Anyone buying IPO for short term gain would have exited at initial spike, others (like me got in at allocation price) will be holding for a decade or two so this is noise, expected not sure why it posted here, do we post every tech stock intra day price move

How does this compare with Grok 4.5, Fable, GPT 5.6 etc I can use them for a few bucks a month, whats the benefit of using this model? is it more intelligent, faster, cheaper (and no I don't want to spin-up my own mini datacenter to run it 'in house') I want to install a harness/app/visit web page auth and start as 99% of people using AI want to do.

I am groggy but I drink a Coke Zero and within 10-20 mins I feel great. Whereas without sleep I would be flagging.

I do bi/tri phase sleep, 6 hours at night, and 1-2 naps a day (I work remotely so allows me to nap when I want) This is the best, sleep when you need to you body knows best.

Do you think our ancestors slept exactly 8 hours a night from 10pm to 6am? No they slept when they wanted.

There is going to be a lot of this kind of thing as AI makes writing manual code optional at best. A project that bans use of agentic coding is going to have a slower development cycle, as Zig is already fairly pedestrian (for said reasons) it's going to become less and less relevant i'm afraid.

There will be a group of programming languages that become the main choices, (Rust, Go, Typescript, C++, Java, C, Lisp and Haskell) for agentic coding, Zig was slightly too late to the game, the great LLM cutoff has happened.

Andrew is trying to fight the tsunami here with a paddle boat as his vision of Zig was conceived before LLM's landed on the scene and is likely unable to accept it.

They last 7-10 years so they would need to stop launching for a decade, not going to happen.

Same, however managers are starting to ask questions, like 'what can we do to help remove bottlenecks' (they think sprinkle unlimited tokens -> revenue multiplies). In actual fact what happens is devs benefit.

It's like the company gave every senior dev a super eager brilliant fellow coder to do their work for them so they can 'do more important things' i.e. Netflix and sleep.

'Yes still working on this ticket' When codex/cc completed it flawlessly last week. The upside is absorbed by the devs knowing they could be soon surplus to requirements.
