Hi HN! My son and I built AudioPrank to have some fun with real-time sound effects. It uses netlib (a free WebRTC signaling service I helped create at Poki) so that everything runs in the browser—no extra backend or sign-ups needed.
How it works:
1. Open AudioPrank and start a room.
2. On another device, open the site and join the room.
3. Trigger farts, animal sounds, or creepy noises instantly from one device to the other.
Backstory:
Backstory:
Poki built netlib as a lightweight, free-to-use WebRTC signaling layer for game developers. I personally wanted a playful way to demonstrate its possibilities. My son suggested making a prank site and this is what we came up with.
Feedback or ideas are welcome, thanks for checking it out!

It's truly a shame. Still to date nothing beats the ease of use of Flash for creative developers. Adobe Animate is alright but the export to HTML5 is horrible, full of bugs. So much potential there.

As most of you probably know by now - Flash is dying and will be gone after 2020. For years we have been working on technology that can runtime-emulate flash games in the browser called AwayFL.
Nitrome ( Bad Ice Cream ) is using the AwayFL technology, together with Splapp-me-do (The Impossible Quiz), Pixeljam (Dino Run) and as of recently also Brad Borne with Fancy Pants Adventures! These games are fully playable in your browser and you can even play them on your phone.
Gifs:
Fancy Pants on mobile browser: https://imgur.com/wCVn7UZ

Poki is also doing something similar together with Nitrome. They use technology from the guys of Away (the ones that initially brought 3D to flash). The product is called AwayFL.
https://www.pocketgamer.biz/interview/73491/interview-poki-p...
