It’s a luxury to hire a human… but needed for these type of high value customers… just have the receptionist do other tasks a human can do while between calls… a clean shop is a functional shop ;)

I turned on "Advanced Protection" a couple weeks ago, and promptly turned it off the other day when it blocked f-droid updates. What a scam android has become.

I have a 512gb s22 ultra wifi only that was a handle down, the carrier radio was fried and they just sent a replacement... It's an amazing offline mp3 player loaded up with my 45k song Library. Using auxio from f-droid which handles it fine. Couldn't be happier. Also have the full library loaded onto my nextcloud (selfhosted, behind wireguard) and my laptop. I try to avoid the streaming side of things because camping and road trips happen.

I have 2 kiddos, 6&8 who are having some troubles in school. I'm a "remote dad", so I can't do much, but I did create this web app for them (ok, Gemini helped) and wanted feedback.

Trying to keep it simple, no analytics or tracking, no extra features to distract the little minds.

Thoughts?

AI for analytical DIY mental health

Recently started asking Google Gemini a lot of questions about shadow work, EMDR, self help and personal growth. I don't view it as a friend, but a guide and assistant to get tldr type information for my own self help journey.

Things like "walk me through a shadow work, start to finish" and "what does that process look like for xyz?"

I'm a self learner, as I imagine many of us here are. We enjoy digging into topics on our own and figuring them out. I know everything has "disclaimers" because everyone these days is afraid of litigation literally taking away their livelihood, and they "highly suggest a professional" and "doing it yourself is dangerous" along with the "self harm" risks of psychosis and whatever else,... But is there really potential here? I feel I'm facing demons head on that I never would have considered otherwise.

What are your thoughts?

dont worry, samsung knows only 300 people will actually care.

As for me, I already swore off Samdung for their whole Samsung account bs and apps they bundle and won't let me remove (or disable).
