One of our repos at work (56 contributors) still has all the original branch commits visible on PRs that were squashed and merged in 2018, I've never noticed anything like that being deleted accidentally or otherwise.

Similar in my team and I don't feel like there's much context switching. With around 8 engineers there's usually at least one person not in the middle of something who can spare a few minutes.

I tried Claude on a project where I'd got stuck trying to use some MacOS media APIs in a Rust app.

It just went in circles between something that wouldn't compile, and a "solution" that compiled but didn't work despite the output insisting it worked. Anything it said that wasn't already in the (admittedly crap) Apple documentation was just hallucination.

Not exactly what I'd describe as "revolutionary".

This is maybe specific to the model, but my previous phone (Xperia 10 V) had its sensor on the power button and I'd always unintentionally unlock it immediately after locking it and putting it back in my pocket
