The US is closer to a dictatorship than a democracy. Certainly now.

In properly democratic countries you would have more than 2 parties, with more than 2 viewpoints. You pick one that aligns with you, and they actually have a chance at winning.

It's pretty hilarious how the americans have corporate personhood so businesses can pretend to be people when it suits them, to shield their workers from the law.

But of course this veil can be pierced when it suits the administration, but not when it'd positively benefit the life of american citizens.

Firefox Console > Memory > Enable record call stacks, reload the page, take a snapshot, wait until you notice memory grows, take another snapshot. Then compare the two: https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/devtools-user/memory.... You can also try a performance recording.

But you probably won't be able to make much sense of the results without a lot of effort because of all the minimization/obfuscation.

Sure. Malware tends not to have physical hands that can touch the machine and any buttons attached to it. Physical ownership should be true ownership, but they're taking that away from you.

Not really, those technologies are basically designed to be able to enforce DRM remotely.

Secure Enclave = store the encryption keys to media in a place where you can't get them

Secure Boot = first step towards remote attestation so they can remotely verify you haven't modified your system to bypass the above

I also feel like the demand is way, way lower. A pilot can't be that large a % of the cost of a flight. Maybe if we lived in the jetsons era.
