<p>There is also a middle ground. You don’t have to prepend your message with several sentences of fluff, but asking a question instead of stating your message can be much better receives. Just stating facts may sound like an accusation and especially if your analysis is not correct it makes your message poorly received.</p>

<p>Using two passports is not always the solution. As a dual citizen of two countries, I also have two passports. A couple of years ago I travelled to Malta with the passport from the country I currently live in. One week later I flew over to Israel, where I used the passport of my birth country. I was extensively interrogated at the border, because apparently the system flagged me to the border officer as there was no record of me entering Malta with the passport I attempted to leave the country with.</p>

<p>It's absurd to expect people to adjust their communication timing based on each contact's preferences, when the recipient can simply adjust their communication devices to block and filter messages/calls according to their preferences. That way each person only has to do the work once, compared to having to remember each of maybe dozens or hundreds of people's preferences.</p>
