Meteor is fullstack, so you can reuse code on the front- and backend, which is nice for validation and business logic.
In the last ten years I worked for more than a dozen startups that based their business successfully on Meteor. Some of them got big and none has regretted it.
I have worked with Nuxt.js, Sapper (now Sveltekit), Play Framework an many more; all great, but for many projects I would still consider Meteor the strongest contender.

Here in Paraguay we can buy Californian almonds, they are sweet but expensive, so we buy them only when they are on sale. Off course they are flown in and we should avoid buying them at all, but that alone would not save any valley.
Thinking about the water shortage at some point a decision seems to be inevitable: Should California be a human habitat or an agriculture producer?
The quick check https://www.ycombinator.com/companies?query=sea%20water doesn't bring up any startup making sewwater fit for agriculture or even human consumption. I hope someone steps into that void and I won't mind if my almonds taste a little saltier.

adPro.rent ia a property management system. Our family uses it to write contracts, print invoices or receipts, do simple bookkeeping, manage incidents, collect payments and get helpful statistics.
Now it has been internationalized and is ready for managing your own properties or those of others. I hope it helps others to save as much time as it does for us. The system has been created initially for Paraguay, all local features are now hidden behind a country-flag. I'm curious to hear if there are features that might be important for other markets and whatever else you might think about adPro.
This has been a side project but I work fulltime on this for the last months. I started this as a solo-founder coming from tech and I'm open to partner up with somebody experienced in bizz, especially sales and marketing.
The features are listed under https://www.adpro.rent/en/.
You can sign up for a free (basic) plan under https://app.adpro.rent/signUp.

My wife and I make some money with a couple of cheap renting units. To make the administration work easier I started to write an application last year (https://adpro.sun.com.py/en). At first it was very Paraguay-specific so currently I'm working on the last part of internationalization which is the contract and invoice editor. From the start I integrated the ability to also administer renting units for others.
It is very useful to us but I'm not sure about product/market fit. I'm eager to learn from others who rent out what they use for administration and such a system makes sense to them. If I really go after the idea I'll also need a co-founder, please contact me if you are interested.

I am very happy with a Dell Precision 5510. I bought it as replacement for my MacBook Pro, maxed out late 2016, (MB) when it needs butterfly keyboard service (twice so far). It came with a Xeon processor and 32 GB RAM. for under 1000 USD. I run it with Ubuntu and compile software all day. My MB fans were blowing a lot and once even the battery swelled (service). My replacement Precision beats the MB in any aspect.
