I think the term used to describe the imposed cost regulation is 'Medical Loss Ratio (MLR)', and the providers that own both ends of the claims transactions can use inflated costs to artificially manipulate their MLR.

That number is in the ballpark of what it costs to install solar on a rooftop here in Minnesota.

The other part is these solar gardens don't stop paying for your electric bill if you move, so it's especially equitable for renters.

i am assuming the majority of those users are not active then?

are you using external storage for user media elsewhere?

do you federate with the broader ecosystem?

these numbers are otherwise nonsensical, a 20 dollar do droplet has like 100gb of storage space, and 3Tb of transfer, that'd be chewed up in less than a week by those users.

I think it's probably better to think of it more as top down (club of rome, malthusians, austerity measures) vs bottom up (kohei saito, eco-socialists, shorter work weeks) degrowth.
