<p>A man after my own heart. Here's another concept to dramatically improve efficiency: Code Contexts. Enable the user to select (or add) a specific set of contexts. When coding under a specific set of contexts, differentiation of code applies only under the given context set. Or, after making a code change the user could add/remove contexts to which it applies. This would resolve a lot of the complexities of OO programming. Behind the scenes, context sets can be organized into a class hierarchy. But the programmer wouldn't have to search through the damn hierarchy to find out what version of a particular method is currently in play..</p>
