Not really, seems kinda weird to be frustrated by an opensource project that people have decided to build a community around.

When POPos was just an Ubuntu fork with a few gnome extensions and a better nvidia installer, I guess you were upset it got traction also? Or is their enhanced nvidia bash script enough of technical merit to appease your righteous stance.

I wonder how you feel about a sponsored Kubuntu conference, you must look at the idea with disgust.

This is a little cringe, it's fine you don't like it, dont use it. There have been other distros based on arch which are also mostly just rices. I've never seen people complain about them, but Omarchy is different, probably because DHH is involved.

I tried Omarchy and thought it was decent, I liked a lot of the settings and visuals.

I am pretty sure that Flatpak does 'not' do a good job when it comes to sandboxing, maybe one day.

I use ULAs since my ISP changed my ipv6 prefix twice a month. What I learned is that ipv6 configuration usually requires a more 'comerical grade' router. In the end it works well for me but getting it setup initially took a lot of effort. Easy to do the second time though.

I later moved and my current ISP does not have ipv6 support but my ULA setup kept working fine with some minor tweaks.

I like matrix and use it but it is no where near a Discord replacement. Setting up the modern Matrix auth and call are not easy and its just not as good or easy as Discord.

This is more like making an immutable linux container using only OS base tools. Docker is a whole stack doing the work for you.

For those unfamiliar with FreeBSD, this is using base OS tools to manually create this type of immutable jail/container. This can be done with 'less effort' by using a jail manager.
