while I agree with the sentiment that it's hard to evaluate the real gains, it's definitely not just about code generation. Debugging is a a big part of the value, IMO.

I have submitted a comment to the Notice, as well emailed my Represenatives and state Governor. I urge every one to do the same, this is absolutely bonkers and I agree that it will severely affect the startup ecosystem.

I guess listing tensorflow first was a mistake. Mostly PyTorch but a couple of TF models we have not ported.

We (Epistemic AI) are looking to hire a new data engineer to work on the data foundations of our Epistemic AI platform – anywhere between UTC-8 and UTC+3.

Requirements:

- you get shit done

- you want to work remotely

- you are great to work with

- you think that working on democratizing access to AI for biomedical research is a very important personal goal

Our technology stack is based on AWS (Cloud), Python 3, Tensorflow, Pytorch (NLP, ML, Deep Learning), Graph databases, Typescript and React (Frontend). We have a CI/CD pipeline and a continuous release process. We train ML and NLP models on clusters of GPUs on Amazon and on Google Cloud TPUs.

I am taking no side on this, as I don't have enough visibility in the topic. But do I think this answer is unfairly discounting the cost of running the company, both human and financial.

Building and running a software company is not free.
