I am a mid level software engineer, currently I am working in SWE but I am worried I'll be out of a job in a few years. I am honing my skills without AI in case the prediction that hiring will pick back up in a few years but I need a plan B.
I am looking to learn a trade job/skill so I can sustain myself in the future. everyone is talking about plumbing but that sounds daunting and I don't know where to start.
Is there something that I can do from home alongside my job to elevate my skills IRL for free or for cheap?

this sounds very effective. I obviously understand you wouldn't want to explain how LLM detection works, but would it be possible to know which forge your using?

I am in my 20s. At the moment I've got a part time job, but I am preparing myself for the worse. In the next few years I am planning to volunteer at farms through workaway. Maybe one day I can become self sustainable, tech and nutrition wise
also getting into plumbing, curious to see what others are doing in this regard.

For me as a desktop linux poweruser, I find this potential transition pretty intimidating, I've never flashed a phone with a custom rom let alone switch to a completely different OS, and I am not sure if the phone can even be reset to its original OS, if things go south.

I'd use git in this case, I am sure there are other reasons to use overleaf otherwise it wouldn't exist but this seems like a solved issue with git.

by creative blogs: I mean ones where you can customize specific article pages easily, to change the styling, add interactive demos, etc..
Examples:
1. this Reuters article https://www.reuters.com/graphics/TENNIS- WIMBLEDON/GRAPHIC/lbvggkzjmvq/
2. anything by Bartosz Ciechanowski
For my blog (yusuf.fyi) I used to MDX to do this, but I have since moved on from the react ecosystem and want something lower level. especially since my site got vendor-locked in an old astrojs version and I am struggling to upgrade it.
